Condos and Townhouses

Yakima Valley, for its size, has only a few Condos/Townhouses and with few exceptions most of the units would be classified as Townhouses rather than Condos. Townhouses, by my definition, are single or two level homes with common walls, grounds or amenities while Condos are multi- story complexes. Listed below are the ones with current listings, recent sales or are under construction. Other condominiums can be found by using the property search at my website. Certain of the listing give only directions and are not named, I have provided the information available.

Bella Vita is another new condominium complex that has been announced at 118 North 50th Avenue. This luxury complex will be multistory and include indoor swimming pool, conference room, exercise room, full security and extensively landscaped inner courtyard that will have enhanced water features.

Bellevue Manor - Englewood Ave to North on Bellevue Place, between 44th & 45th Ave. Public Remarks: $75/mo fee includes lawn, sprinkler maintenance & snow removal - from $269,500.

Carriage Park - Englewood N on 37th Ave. Right on Fairbanks. 3701 Fairbanks Avenue – from $147,500

Casa Royal is located off Englewood on 50th Avenue with community pool and recreation room.

Chalet Condos - West on Summitview, right on 56th, right into Chalet Condos. Monthly dues are $186 and include water, sewer, garbage, common are yard care and snow removal - from $142,000.

Crest Circle with community pool and recreation room is located off Englewood Ave, north on 48th, left into Crest Circle (1st immediate left on 48th.)

El Summerset is accessed off of Lincoln Street on 60th Avenue. These townhouses are single level and are at the end of a cul-de-sac.

Fontanelle, is accessed off Summitview Ave. at the 6900 block going South. Grounds are well maintained with a central courtyard, cabana, clubhouse, outdoor pool by the homeowners association. Address is 5901 Barge. From $115,000

Glen Heather and Glen Heather West are in the 100 block of N. 56th and 58th in Yakima. These townhouses are two levels and surround a central courtyard with swimming pool and putting green. Both are well maintained by active homeowners associations. From $132,500

Glenwood Court is located off Tieton on 49th avenue with community pool and recreation room.

La Mirada Condos - Tieton to 38th S on 38th – from $65,000

The Heatherton - West on Summitview, Left on 56th, right on West Chestnut – 5701 West Chestnut - from $134,900

The Lofts, is a new condominium complex nearing completion in downtown Yakima. This development is part of an extensive redevelopment program covering all of downtown Yakima. These condos are being built on 3rd street just North of Yakima Avenue. Will have tax breaks for 10 years.

The Villas, is another development in planning that while it is not technically a condo or townhouse as each home will be on separate lots, does have common areas and amenities. It is a planned and gated community for active adults (aged 55 and over) with walkways, recreation areas and clubhouse. It will be located at 408 South 41st Street, in Yakima.

Williams Walnut West Condominiums - At corner of South 8th Ave and West Walnut - - from $105,000.

Willow Lake Condominiums, 2300 River Road. Gated community includes lake and shoreline, docks, pool, tennis court and clubhouse. - from $198,000

Windcrest Villa Condominiums are located at 5910 W. Lincoln Ave., Yakima, WA 98908. This is a beautifully landscaped condo community for active adults age 55+ including 45 single level units with various floor plans, a swimming pool, clubhouse and tennis court.

Resorts

Currently, there are only two resort properties operating in the Yakima Valley area. However, there are two new resorts proposed.

Apple Tree Resort features a 6900 yard championship golf course with its signature apple 17th green. The resort has a restaurant, pro shop and meeting area and an extensive real estate development, featuring homes, condominiums and it own park with a swimming pool, hot tub, cabana, sport court and playground.

Horn Rapids overlooking the Yakima River near Richland features an 18 hole links-style golf course, on 835 acres with 100 acres of parks, greenbelts, playgrounds and an extensive network of trails.

Vineyards is a Tuscan themed resort with an 18 hole golf course, spa and residential community planned for the Konnowac pass area, about 5 miles south of Union Gap. This upscale resort will have beautiful views of the vineyards and orchards of the Lower Yakima Valley and Mt. Adams.

Zillah Lakes is under construction just west of Zillah off I-82. Zillah Lakes is a “wine country village” built around a man made lake and 9 hole golf course. The resort will have its own town center commercial area and clock tower.

Gated Communities

Gated communities in the Yakima Valley are often small with few amenities so little information is available other than a location. When available I have listed the link to the website. Listed below are those gated communities that have current listings, recent sales or are planned for development. Active current listings in gated communities can be found by using the advanced search at my website.

Coolidge Heights offers 26 large lots ranging in size from 12,000 to 14,000 square feet with a starting price of $90,000. Coolidge Heights is located next to Apple Tree Golf course at 88th Avenue and Coolidge.

Estate Way, ¼ mile off highway 12 on Old Naches Highway, 3 miles northwest of Yakima next to Suntides Golf Course.

Falcon Ridge covers more than 800 acres in the West Valley area, just west of the city Cf Yakima. This is a fly-in community complete with its own 2400 ft asphalt runway. Located at the end of Cottonwood Canyon Road.

Gromore Estates – West 80th Ave. and North Occidental

Lake Aspen gated community for lake front condominiums and homes located off River Road in Yakima.

Perham Heights, off Mapleway Road, ¼ mile west of Selah Heights Road west of Selah.

Quail Run at Terrace Heights – 200 Bridle Way, Yakima, WA 98901 – 509-469-2926 – 55+ community of manufactured homes, clubhouse, with kitchen, gaming areas, workout room and swimming pool – from $195,000

River Edge Lane, off Harrison Road next to the Yakima River northeast of Selah.

Acreage

Most of the available acreage is sold in individual parcels, which can only be located by using a search engine such as on my website. The acreages I have listed are only the ones with multiple parcels which have current listings, recent sales or are under development. Many listings only show directions, I have provided as much information as available. Finding a home with acreage is challenging as you need to find both a home that meets your criteria and the land fitting your needs. Fortunately, the Yakima Valley is blessed with many of these properties in several different areas.

Selah Area
